Dear writers and artists,

don’t stop doing what you love. Some days you might love what your doing, while some days you will stop. You may think if its even worth continuing, or if its something you should leave behind and pick up something more “realistic.”

Don’t listen to that, do not leave it behind what you love, even if you think you should. This world needs creative people like you. Don’t throw in the towel and call it quits. Wait and see what the world brings.

I always thought it was a good idea to call it quits, but one time I decided to share my work with a friend in a restaurant, and a stranger who worked their commented on my art, saying I could be a tattoo designer. Personally I just want to be an artist, who sells their art, with no intended purpose. If it could be used for tattoos, then im glad that the person who used it as a design, loved it, but even that small comment meant a lot.

Each and every one of us, are very creative, our work will fill in a void that needed to be filled. That could be a lesson needed to be learned through writing, or a feeling portrayed through art. We are all here for a reason. So don’t stop doing what you love, you may not know where you are going, but let your art lead you somewhere.

Your mind will find ideas, your heart will portray it, and you art will find the people who need to see it. Trust your mind, your heart and your art. Follow the journey and see where it leads you. If your your journey has not yet started, then get a pencil, pen and paper, and start,

Thank you for listening,
